The Smart of Sin a Good Sign
Luke 7:44
And he turned to the woman, and said to Simon, See you this woman? I entered into your house, you gave me no water for my feet…


And as it is in a diseased body or with some old sore, if in the dressing of the wound no pain be felt, we conclude the flesh is dead, but when the patient begins to complain of the pain and is sensible of the smart, then it is taken for a good sign that the cure is in a good forwardness.
