Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. The little boy laid his drum on the ground and leaped into it, smashing the parchment into atoms. "God forbid," said he, "that the king's drum should ever be beat for rebels." The ruffians piked the little hero, but they could not obliterate the remembrance of a deed worthy of a place in the noblest records of courage, loyalty, and fidelity — an example which, if it were imitated in a spiritual sense by the Christian, would best illustrate the fulfilment of the apostle's exhortation here.
