Matthew 13:52
Then said he to them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed to the kingdom of heaven is like to a man that is an householder…

2. Comprehending.

III. THE MEANS OF HIS PROFICIENCY.

1. Diligent research.

2. Daily meditation.

3. Devout breathings.

IV. THE USEFULNESS OF HIS LIFE.

V. THE BENEFITS OF REMEMBERING THE LIFE AND LABOURS OF ONE WHO WAS A SCRIBE INSTRUCTED UNTO THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.

1. To admire the dealings of God with His servant.

2. To exercise the spirit of patient continuance in well doing.
