With the Rich in His Death
Isaiah 53:9
And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence…

The meaning is, "His grave was assigned to Him with criminals, and with a rich man after He had actually died a painful death," i.e. He was to have been laid where the bodies of dead criminals lie, but He came after His death to lie in a grave that had been intended for the corpse of a rich man.

(F. Delitzsch, D.D.)
