Fulfilment of Prophecy
Matthew 21:1-11
And when they drew near to Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, to the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples,…


A prophecy may be said to be fulfilled four ways.

I. When the self-same thing comes to pass which was literally delivered in the prophecy.

II. When the thing allegorically signified is fulfilled.

III. When as neither the thing literally nor allegorically meant, but some other like is done.

IV. When as it is daily more and more fulfilled.
