Deuteronomy 33:25 Your shoes shall be iron and brass; and as your days, so shall your strength be. 1. We cannot know beforehand what help will spring up from our circumstances. 4. Anxiety for the future is labour lost. 5. Application — (1) To those who follow conscience against their worldly interests. (2) To those who wish to reform from evil habits, but fear they will not be able to hold out. (3) To those who look wistfully on a Christian life, but doubt if they would be able to maintain it. (4) To those who are troubled exceedingly in regard to expected events.
