1 I ask then, did God {Theos} reject His people? Certainly not! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant (seed) of Abraham (father of many), from the tribe of Benjamin (son of the right hand). 2 God {Theos} did not reject His people, whom He foreknew. Do you⁺ not know what the Scripture says about Elijah (my God is YHWH), how he appealed to God {Theō} against Israel (He wrestles with God): 3 “Lord {Kyrie}, they have killed Your prophets and torn down Your altars.
