1 AND unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things says he who has the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know your works; you have a name that you are alive and yet you are dead. 2 Awake, and hold fast to the things which remain but are ready to die; for I have not found your works perfect before my God. 3 Remember, therefore, just as you have received and heard, so hold fast and repent. And if, therefore, you do not awake, I will come against you as a thief, and you shall not know at what hour I will come upon you. Revelation 3:1-3, Lamsa Bible. Public domain.
