57 And these are the numbered ones of the Levite by their clans: Of Gershon, the clan of the Gershonite; of Kohath, the clan of the Kohathite; of Merari, the clan of the Merarite. 58 These are the clans of Levi: The clan of the Libnite, the clan of the Hebronite, the clan of the Mahlite, the clan of the Mushite, and the clan of the Korahite. And Kohath begat Amram. 59 And the name of the wife of Amram was Jochebed daughter of Levi, who was born to Levi in Egypt. And she bore to Amram Aaron and Moses and Miriam their sister. 60 And were born to Aaron Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar. 61 And Nadab and Abihu died when they offered strange fire before the face of YHWH. 62 And their numbered ones were three and twenty thousand, every male from a son of a month and above; for they were not numbered in the midst of the sons of Israel, because no inheritance was given to them in the midst of the sons of Israel.
