20 These were the descendants of Judah (praised) by their clans: The Shelanite clan from Shelah (a petition), the Perezite clan from Perez (breaking out), and the Zerahite clan from Zerah (rising). 21 And these were the descendants of Perez (breaking out): the Hezronite clan from Hezron (surrounded by a wall) and the Hamulite (spared) clan from Hamul.
