Nehemiah 10:35-39 ▼

35 and to bring in the firstfruits of our land and the firstfruits of all the fruit of every tree year by year, to the house of YHWH,

36 and the firstborn of our sons, and our livestock, as it is written in the Law, and the firstborn of our herds and our flocks, to bring to the house of our God, to the priests ministering in the house of our God.

37 And the first of our dough and our contributions, and the fruit of every tree, the new wine, and the oil, we shall bring to the priests, into the rooms of the house of our God, and the tithe of our land for the Levites, and they—the Levites—are those collecting the tithe in all the cities of our service.

38 And the priest, the son of Aaron, shall be with the Levites in the Levites collecting tithes, and the Levites shall bring up a tenth of the tithe to the house of our God into the rooms, into the house of the treasury.

39 For into the rooms shall bring the sons of Israel and the sons of Levi the contribution of the grain, and the new wine, and the oil, and there shall be the articles of the sanctuary are, and the priests ministering, and the gatekeepers, and the singers. And we shall not forsake the house of our God.”
