3 And he spoke many things to them in parables, saying: Behold, the sower went out to sow. 4 And as he sowed, some seeds fell by the way: and the birds came and ate them up. 5 Others fell on stony places, where they had not much earth; and they immediately sprung up, because they had no depth of earth. 6 But when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. 7 Others fell among thorns, and the thorns sprung up and choked them. 8 Others fell upon good ground, and brought forth fruit, some a hundred, some sixty, some thirty. 9 He that has ears to hear, let him hear.
