Par

And Jesus was going with them. And now, when He was not far distant from the house, the centurion sent friends, saying to Him, "Lord, trouble not Thyself; for I am not worthy that Thou shouldest come under my roof.

Wherefore, neither thought I myself worthy to come to Thee; but speak with a word, and let my boy be healed;

for I also am a man set under authority, having soldiers under myself; and I say to this one, 'Go,' and he goes; and to another, 'Come,' and he comes; and to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it ."

And, hearing these things, Jesus marvelled at him; and, turning, He said to the multitude following Him, "I say to you, not even in Israel did I find such faith!"
