1 The first day of the week early in morning Mary Magdalene, when it was yet dusky, came to the sepulchre, and found the stone was taken away from the sepulchre. 2 upon this she went in great haste to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and said to them, they have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him. 3 Peter immediately departed, and that other disciple, to go to the sepulchre. 4 they both set out together: but the other disciple out-ran Peter, and came first to the cave, John 20:1-4, Mace New Testament.
