22 Instead, you⁺ have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God {Theou}, the heavenly Jerusalem (city of peace). You have come to myriads of angels (messengers) 23 in joyful assembly, to the congregation {ekklēsia} of the firstborn, enrolled in heaven. You have come to God {Theō} the Judge of all, to the spirits {pneumasi} of the righteous made perfect, 24 to Jesus (YHWH saves) the mediator (reconciler) of a new covenant {diathēkēs}, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel (breath).
