15 When Mahalalel (the blessed of God) was 65 years old, he became the father of Jared (descended). 16 And after he had become the father of Jared (descended), Mahalalel (the blessed of God) lived 830 years and had other sons and daughters. 17 So Mahalalel (the blessed of God) lived a total of 895 years, and then he died. 18 When Jared (descended) was 162 years old, he became the father of Enoch (teaching). 19 And after he had become the father of Enoch (teaching), Jared (descended) lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters. 20 So Jared (descended) lived a total of 962 years, and then he died.
