9 And God said, |Let the waters under the sky be gathered to one gathering, and let the dry land appear.| And it was so. And the waters under the sky gathered to their gatherings, and the dry land appeared. 10 And God called the dry land Earth, and the gatherings of the waters he called Seas. And God saw that it was good. 11 And God said, |Let the earth produce vegetation, plants yielding seed after its kind, and fruit trees bearing fruit with seed in it after its kind, on the earth.| And it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed after its kind, and fruit trees bearing fruit with seed in it after its kind, on the earth. And God saw that it was good. Genesis 1:9-12, New Heart English Bible. Public domain.
