1 All the commaundementes which I commaunde thee this day, shal ye kepe for to do the, that ye may liue, and multiplie, and go in and possesse the lande which the Lorde sware vnto your fathers. 2 And thou shalt remember all the way which the Lorde thy God led thee this fourtie yeres in the wildernesse, for to humble thee, & to proue thee, and to knowe what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest kepe his comaundementes, or no. 3 He humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, & fed thee with Manna, which neither thou nor thy fathers knewe of, to make thee knowe that a man doth not lyue by bread only: but by euery worde that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lorde, doth a man lyue.
