17 Then Daniel (God is my judge) returned to his house and explained the matter to his friends Hananiah (God has favored), Mishael (who is what God is), and Azariah (YHWH has helped), 18 urging them to plead for mercy from the God of heaven concerning this mystery, so that Daniel (God is my judge) and his friends would not be killed with the rest of the wise men of Babylon (confusion by mixing). 19 During the night, the mystery was revealed to Daniel (God is my judge) in a vision, and he blessed the God of heaven Daniel 2:17-19, Berean Annotated Bible.
