25 But I, having understood him to have done nothing worthy of death—this one himself now having appealed to the Emperor—I determined to send him,

26 concerning whom I have nothing definite to write to my lord. Therefore I have brought him before you? all, and especially before you, King Agrippa, so that on the examination having taken place, I might have something to write.

27 For it seems absurd to me, sending a prisoner, not also to specify the charges against him.”
