1 And after these things, having departed from Athens, he came to Corinth. 2 And having found a certain Jew named Aquila, a native of Pontus, and Priscilla his wife, recently having come from Italy because of Claudius having commanded all the Jews to depart out of Rome, he came to them, 3 and because of being of the same trade, he stayed with them and worked.
