16 In the fifth year of the reign of Joram (YHWH is exalted) son of Ahab (father's brother) over Israel (he wrestles with God), Jehoram son of Jehoshaphat (YHWH has judged) succeeded his father (praised) as king of Judah. 17 Jehoram was thirty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem (city of peace) eight years. 18 And Jehoram walked in the ways of the kings of Israel (he wrestles with God), just as the house of Ahab (father's brother) had done. For he married a daughter of Ahab and did evil in the sight of the LORD {YHWH}. 2 Kings 8:16-18, Berean Annotated Bible. Public domain.
