3 And the LORD was with Jehoshaphat because he walked in the first ways of his father David and did not pray to images; 4 But he prayed to the LORD God of his father and walked in his commandments and kept his statutes, and did not do according to the ways of Israel. 5 Therefore the LORD established the kingdom in his hand; and all Judah brought presents to Jehoshaphat and he had riches and honor in abundance. 6 And his heart was strengthened in the ways of the LORD; moreover he uprooted the altars and the high places which were within the territory of Judah. 2 Chronicles 17:3-6, Lamsa Bible.
