9 I wrote to you in an epistle not to associate with immoral persons. 10 I do not mean that you should separate completely from all the immoral people of this world, or from the fraudulent and extortioners, or from idolaters; otherwise you would be obliged to leave this world. 11 Now what I have written to you is this: you are not to associate with any person who is known as a brother and yet is immoral or fraudulent or an idolater or a railer or a drunkard or an extortioner; with such a person you must not break bread. 12 For what business have I to judge those who are outside the church?
