35 Jeiel, who fathered Gibeon, lived in the city of Gibeon. His wife was named Maacah.

36 His firstborn son was Abdon, followed by Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab,

37 Gedor, Ahio, Zechariah, and Mikloth.

38 Mikloth fathered Shimeam. They lived across town from their relatives in Jerusalem.

39 Ner fathered Kish, Kish fathered Saul, and Saul fathered Jonathan, Malchi-shua, Abinadab, and Esh-baal.
