6 When the Ammonites (tribal) realized that they had become a stench to David (beloved), Hanun (gracious) and the Ammonites sent a thousand talents of silver <37.7 t / 34.2 mt> to hire for themselves chariots and horsemen from Aram-naharaim (Aram of the two rivers), Aram-maacah (oppression), and Zobah (station). 7 So they hired for themselves thirty-two thousand chariots, as well as the king of Maacah (oppression) with his troops, who came and camped near Medeba (water of rest) while the Ammonites (tribal) were mustered from their cities and marched out for battle. 1 Chronicles 19:6-7, Berean Annotated Bible.
