2 The Philistines (immigrants) followed hard after Saul (desired) and his sons, and they killed Saul’s sons Jonathan (YHWH has given), Abinadab (my father is willing), and Malchishua (my king is wealth). 3 When the battle intensified against Saul (desired), the archers overtook him and wounded him. 4 Then Saul (desired) said to his armor-bearer, “Draw your sword and run me through with it, or these uncircumcised men will come and torture me!” But his armor-bearer was terrified and refused to do it. So Saul took his own sword and fell on it. 5 When his armor-bearer saw that Saul (desired) was dead, he too fell on his own sword and died. 6 So Saul (desired) died together with his three sons and all his house. 1 Chronicles 10:2-6, Berean Annotated Bible.
