7 The beginning of wisdom is to obtain wisdom, and, with all that you possess, to acquire prudence. The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom, and whatever you get, get insight. The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.
8 Grasp her, and she will exalt you. You will be glorified by her, when you have embraced her. Prize her highly, and she will exalt you; she will honor you if you embrace her. Cherish her, and she will exalt you; embrace her, and she will honor you.
9 She will bestow upon your head an increase in graces, and she will protect you with a noble crown. She will place on your head a graceful garland; she will bestow on you a beautiful crown.” She will give you a garland to grace your head and present you with a glorious crown.”
