My son, do not forget my teaching, take to heart my commands; My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments, My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart,
For many days, and years of life, and peace, will they bring you. for length of days and years of life and peace they will add to you. for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity.
Do not let love and fidelity forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart. Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart. Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.
Then will you win favor and esteem before God and human beings. So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, on your own intelligence do not rely; Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways be mindful of him, and he will make straight your paths. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
Do not be wise in your own eyes, fear the LORD and turn away from evil; Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD, and turn away from evil. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil.
This will mean health for your flesh and vigor for your bones. It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.
