13 Blessed is the man that findeth wisdom and is rich in prudence: Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding, Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding,
14 The purchasing thereof is better than the merchandise of silver, and her fruit than the chiefest and purest gold: for the gain from her is better than gain from silver and her profit better than gold. for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold.
15 She is more precious than all riches : and all the things that are desired, are not to be compared with her. She is more precious than jewels, and nothing you desire can compare with her. She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her.
16 Length of days is in her right hand, and in her left hand riches and glory. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor.
