| 5 | A wise man is better than a strong man; yea, a man of knowledge than a mighty man. | A wise man is full of strength, and a man of knowledge enhances his might, | The wise prevail through great power, and those who have knowledge muster their strength. | |
| 6 | For by provocation is war waged; and in a multitude of counsels there is salvation. | for by wise guidance you can wage your war, and in abundance of counselors there is victory. | Surely you need guidance to wage war, and victory is won through many advisers. | |
