My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and lay up my commandments with thee; My son, if you receive my words and treasure up my commandments with you, My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you,
So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; making your ear attentive to wisdom and inclining your heart to understanding; turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding—
Yea, if thou cry after discernment, and lift up thy voice for understanding; yes, if you call out for insight and raise your voice for understanding, indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding,
If thou seek her as silver, and search for her as for hid treasures; if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure,
Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God. then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God. then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God.
