1	My son, if you accept my words and hide my commandments within you,	My son, if you receive my words and treasure up my commandments with you,	My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you,
2	if you incline your ear to wisdom and direct your heart to understanding,	making your ear attentive to wisdom and inclining your heart to understanding;	turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding—
3	if you truly call out to insight and lift your voice to understanding,	yes, if you call out for insight and raise your voice for understanding,	indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding,
4	if you seek it like silver and search it out like hidden treasure,	if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures,	and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure,
