4 He cometh to want that dealeth with a slack hand; but the hand of the diligent maketh rich. A slack hand causes poverty, but the hand of the diligent makes rich. Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth.
5 He that gathereth in summer is a wise son; he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame. He who gathers in summer is a prudent son, but he who sleeps in harvest is a son who brings shame. He who gathers crops in summer is a prudent son, but he who sleeps during harvest is a disgraceful son.
