| 8 | Most of the crowd spread their garments on the road ahead of him, and others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. | Most of the crowd spread their cloaks on the road, and others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. | A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. | |
| 9 | Jesus was in the center of the procession, and the people all around him were shouting, “Praise God for the Son of David! Blessings on the one who comes in the name of the LORD! Praise God in highest heaven!” | And the crowds that went before him and that followed him were shouting, “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!” | The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Hosanna in the highest heaven!” | |
