5 He asked them, “How many loaves do you have?” They said, “Seven.” And he asked them, “How many loaves do you have?” They said, “Seven.” “How many loaves do you have?” Jesus asked. “Seven,” they replied.
6 He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground, and he took the seven loaves. Having given thanks, he broke them and gave them to his disciples to serve, and they served the multitude. And he directed the crowd to sit down on the ground. And he took the seven loaves, and having given thanks, he broke them and gave them to his disciples to set before the people; and they set them before the crowd. He told the crowd to sit down on the ground. When he had taken the seven loaves and given thanks, he broke them and gave them to his disciples to distribute to the people, and they did so.
7 They also had a few small fish. Having blessed them, he said to serve these also. And they had a few small fish. And having blessed them, he said that these also should be set before them. They had a few small fish as well; he gave thanks for them also and told the disciples to distribute them.
