Then Bildad the Shuhite replied: Then Bildad the Shuhite replied: Then Bildad the Shuhite answered and said:

Can his forces be numbered? On whom does his light not rise? Can His troops be numbered? On whom does His light not rise? Is there any number to his armies? Upon whom does his light not arise?
How then can a mortal be righteous before God? How can one born of woman be pure? How then can a man be just before God? How can one born of woman be pure? How then can man be in the right before God? How can he who is born of woman be pure?
If even the moon is not bright and the stars are not pure in his eyes, If even the moon does not shine, and the stars are not pure in His sight, Behold, even the moon is not bright, and the stars are not pure in his eyes;
how much less a mortal, who is but a maggot— a human being, who is only a worm!” how much less man, who is but a maggot, and the son of man, who is but a worm!” how much less man, who is a maggot, and the son of man, who is a worm!”
