Then the LORD said to me, “Go again; show love to a woman who is loved by another man and is an adulteress, just as the LORD loves the Israelites though they turn to other gods and love raisin cakes.” And the LORD said to me, “Go again, love a woman who is loved by another man and is an adulteress, even as the LORD loves the children of Israel, though they turn to other gods and love cakes of raisins.” The LORD said to me, “Go, show your love to your wife again, though she is loved by another man and is an adulteress. Love her as the LORD loves the Israelites, though they turn to other gods and love the sacred raisin cakes.”
So I bought her for fifteen shekels of silver and nine bushels of barley. So I bought her for fifteen shekels of silver and a homer and a lethech of barley. So I bought her for fifteen shekels of silver and about a homer and a lethek of barley.
I said to her, “You are to live with me many days. You must not be promiscuous or belong to any man, and I will act the same way toward you.” And I said to her, “You must dwell as mine for many days. You shall not play the whore, or belong to another man; so will I also be to you.” Then I told her, “You are to live with me many days; you must not be a prostitute or be intimate with any man, and I will behave the same way toward you.”
For the Israelites must live many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or sacred pillar, and without ephod or household idols. For the children of Israel shall dwell many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or pillar, without ephod or household gods. For the Israelites will live many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or sacred stones, without ephod or household gods.
Afterward, the people of Israel will return and seek the LORD their God and David their king. They will come with awe to the LORD and to his goodness in the last days. Afterward the children of Israel shall return and seek the LORD their God, and David their king, and they shall come in fear to the LORD and to his goodness in the latter days. Afterward the Israelites will return and seek the LORD their God and David their king. They will come trembling to the LORD and to his blessings in the last days.
