2 And YHWH was with Joseph, and he was a successful man, and he was in the house of his lord the Egyptian. The LORD was with Joseph, and he became a successful man, and he was in the house of his Egyptian master. The LORD was with Joseph so that he prospered, and he lived in the house of his Egyptian master.
3 And his lord saw that YHWH was with him, and all that he was doing, YHWH was making successful in his hand. His master saw that the LORD was with him and that the LORD caused all that he did to succeed in his hands. When his master saw that the LORD was with him and that the LORD gave him success in everything he did,
4 And Joseph found favor in his eyes and he served him. And he appointed him over his house, and all that he had to him, he put in his hand. So Joseph found favor in his sight and attended him, and he made him overseer of his house and put him in charge of all that he had. Joseph found favor in his eyes and became his attendant. Potiphar put him in charge of his household, and he entrusted to his care everything he owned.
