2 On the seventh day God finished his work which he had done; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had done. And on the seventh day God finished his work that he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work that he had done. By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work.
3 God blessed the seventh day, and made it holy, because he rested in it from all his work of creation which he had done. So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.
