He said to me, “Son of man, stand up on your feet and I will speak with you.” And he said to me, “Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak with you.” He said to me, “Son of man, stand up on your feet and I will speak to you.”
As he spoke to me, the Spirit entered me and set me on my feet, and I listened to the one who was speaking to me. And as he spoke to me, the Spirit entered into me and set me on my feet, and I heard him speaking to me. As he spoke, the Spirit came into me and raised me to my feet, and I heard him speaking to me.
He said to me, “Son of man, I am sending you to the Israelites, to the rebellious pagans who have rebelled against me. The Israelites and their ancestors have transgressed against me to this day. And he said to me, “Son of man, I send you to the people of Israel, to nations of rebels, who have rebelled against me. They and their fathers have transgressed against me to this very day. He said: “Son of man, I am sending you to the Israelites, to a rebellious nation that has rebelled against me; they and their ancestors have been in revolt against me to this very day.
The descendants are obstinate and hardhearted. I am sending you to them, and you must say to them, ‘This is what the Lord GOD says.’ The descendants also are impudent and stubborn: I send you to them, and you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD.’ The people to whom I am sending you are obstinate and stubborn. Say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says.’
Whether they listen or refuse to listen —for they are a rebellious house—they will know that a prophet has been among them. And whether they hear or refuse to hear (for they are a rebellious house) they will know that a prophet has been among them. And whether they listen or fail to listen—for they are a rebellious people—they will know that a prophet has been among them.
“But you, son of man, do not be afraid of them and do not be afraid of their words, even though briers and thorns are beside you and you live among scorpions. Don’t be afraid of their words or discouraged by the look on their faces, for they are a rebellious house. And you, son of man, be not afraid of them, nor be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you and you sit on scorpions. Be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, for they are a rebellious house. And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them or their words. Do not be afraid, though briers and thorns are all around you and you live among scorpions. Do not be afraid of what they say or be terrified by them, though they are a rebellious people.
Speak my words to them whether they listen or refuse to listen, for they are rebellious. And you shall speak my words to them, whether they hear or refuse to hear, for they are a rebellious house. You must speak my words to them, whether they listen or fail to listen, for they are rebellious.
“And you, son of man, listen to what I tell you: Do not be rebellious like that rebellious house. Open your mouth and eat what I am giving you.” “But you, son of man, hear what I say to you. Be not rebellious like that rebellious house; open your mouth and eat what I give you.” But you, son of man, listen to what I say to you. Do not rebel like that rebellious people; open your mouth and eat what I give you.”
So I looked and saw a hand reaching out to me, and there was a written scroll in it. And when I looked, behold, a hand was stretched out to me, and behold, a scroll of a book was in it. Then I looked, and I saw a hand stretched out to me. In it was a scroll,
When he unrolled it before me, it was written on the front and back; words of lamentation, mourning, and woe were written on it. And he spread it before me. And it had writing on the front and on the back, and there were written on it words of lamentation and mourning and woe. which he unrolled before me. On both sides of it were written words of lament and mourning and woe.
