It is to be square, a cubit long, a cubit wide, and two cubits high. Its horns must be of one piece. A cubit shall be its length, and a cubit its breadth. It shall be square, and two cubits shall be its height. Its horns shall be of one piece with it. A cubit shall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof; foursquare shall it be: and two cubits shall be the height thereof: the horns thereof shall be of the same. Its length shall be a cubit, and its width a cubit; it shall be square, and its height shall be two cubits; its horns shall be of one piece with it. It is to be square, a cubit long and a cubit wide, and two cubits high —its horns of one piece with it.
Overlay with pure gold the top and all the sides and horns, and make a molding of gold around it. You shall overlay it with pure gold, its top and around its sides and its horns. And you shall make a molding of gold around it. And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, the top thereof, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns thereof; and thou shalt make unto it a crown of gold round about. You shall overlay it with pure gold, its top and its sides all around, and its horns; and you shall make a gold molding all around for it. Overlay the top and all the sides and the horns with pure gold, and make a gold molding around it.
And make two gold rings below the molding on opposite sides to hold the poles used to carry it. And you shall make two golden rings for it. Under its molding on two opposite sides of it you shall make them, and they shall be holders for poles with which to carry it. And two golden rings shalt thou make to it under the crown of it, by the two corners thereof, upon the two sides of it shalt thou make it; and they shall be for places for the staves to bear it withal. You shall also make two gold rings for it under its molding; you shall make them on its two sides—on opposite sides—and they shall be holders for poles with which to carry it. Make two gold rings for the altar below the molding—two on each of the opposite sides—to hold the poles used to carry it.
Make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold. You shall make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold. And thou shalt make the staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold. And you shall make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold. Make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold.
Place the altar in front of the veil that is before the ark of the Testimony before the mercy seat that is over the Testimony— where I will meet with you. And you shall put it in front of the veil that is above the ark of the testimony, in front of the mercy seat that is above the testimony, where I will meet with you. And thou shalt put it before the vail that is by the ark of the testimony, before the mercy seat that is over the testimony, where I will meet with thee. You shall put this altar in front of the veil that is near the ark of the testimony, in front of the atoning cover that is over the ark of the testimony, where I will meet with you. Put the altar in front of the curtain that shields the ark of the covenant law—before the atonement cover that is over the tablets of the covenant law—where I will meet with you.
And Aaron is to burn fragrant incense on it every morning when he tends the lamps. And Aaron shall burn fragrant incense on it. Every morning when he dresses the lamps he shall burn it, And Aaron shall burn thereon sweet incense every morning: when he dresseth the lamps, he shall burn incense upon it. Aaron shall burn fragrant incense on it; he shall burn it every morning when he trims the lamps. “Aaron must burn fragrant incense on the altar every morning when he tends the lamps.
When Aaron sets up the lamps at twilight, he must burn the incense perpetually before the LORD for the generations to come. and when Aaron sets up the lamps at twilight, he shall burn it, a regular incense offering before the LORD throughout your generations. And when Aaron lighteth the lamps at even, he shall burn incense upon it, a perpetual incense before the LORD throughout your generations. And when Aaron sets up the lamps at twilight, he shall burn incense. There shall be perpetual incense before the LORD throughout your generations. He must burn incense again when he lights the lamps at twilight so incense will burn regularly before the LORD for the generations to come.
On this altar you must not offer unauthorized incense or a burnt offering or grain offering; nor are you to pour a drink offering on it. You shall not offer unauthorized incense on it, or a burnt offering, or a grain offering, and you shall not pour a drink offering on it. Ye shall offer no strange incense thereon, nor burnt sacrifice, nor meat offering; neither shall ye pour drink offering thereon. You shall not offer any strange incense on this altar, or burnt offering, or meal offering; and you shall not pour out a drink offering on it. Do not offer on this altar any other incense or any burnt offering or grain offering, and do not pour a drink offering on it.
Once a year Aaron shall make atonement on the horns of the altar. Throughout your generations he shall make atonement on it annually with the blood of the sin offering of atonement. The altar is most holy to the LORD.” Aaron shall make atonement on its horns once a year. With the blood of the sin offering of atonement he shall make atonement for it once in the year throughout your generations. It is most holy to the LORD.” And Aaron shall make an atonement upon the horns of it once in a year with the blood of the sin offering of atonements: once in the year shall he make atonement upon it throughout your generations: it is most holy unto the LORD. However, Aaron shall make atonement on its horns once a year; he shall make atonement on it with the blood of the sin offering of atonement once a year throughout your generations. It is most holy to the LORD.” Once a year Aaron shall make atonement on its horns. This annual atonement must be made with the blood of the atoning sin offering for the generations to come. 11 Then the LORD said to Moses, The LORD said to Moses, And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, The LORD also spoke to Moses, saying, Then the LORD said to Moses,
“When you take a census of the Israelites to number them, each man must pay the LORD a ransom for his life when he is counted. Then no plague will come upon them when they are numbered. “When you take the census of the people of Israel, then each shall give a ransom for his life to the LORD when you number them, that there be no plague among them when you number them. When thou takest the sum of the children of Israel after their number, then shall they give every man a ransom for his soul unto the LORD, when thou numberest them; that there be no plague among them, when thou numberest them. “When you take a census of the sons of Israel to count them, then each one of them shall give a ransom for himself to the LORD, when you count them, so that there will be no plague among them when you count them. “When you take a census of the Israelites to count them, each one must pay the LORD a ransom for his life at the time he is counted. Then no plague will come on them when you number them.
Everyone who crosses over to those counted must pay a half shekel, according to the sanctuary shekel, which weighs twenty gerahs. This half shekel is an offering to the LORD. Each one who is numbered in the census shall give this: half a shekel according to the shekel of the sanctuary (the shekel is twenty gerahs), half a shekel as an offering to the LORD. This they shall give, every one that passeth among them that are numbered, half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary: (a shekel is twenty gerahs:) an half shekel shall be the offering of the LORD. This is what everyone who is counted shall give: half a shekel according to the shekel of the sanctuary (the shekel is twenty gerahs), half a shekel as a contribution to the LORD. Each one who crosses over to those already counted is to give a half shekel, according to the sanctuary shekel, which weighs twenty gerahs. This half shekel is an offering to the LORD.
Everyone twenty years of age or older who crosses over must give this offering to the LORD. Everyone who is numbered in the census, from twenty years old and upward, shall give the LORD’s offering. Every one that passeth among them that are numbered, from twenty years old and above, shall give an offering unto the LORD. Everyone who is counted, from twenty years old and over, shall give the contribution to the LORD. All who cross over, those twenty years old or more, are to give an offering to the LORD.
In making the offering to the LORD to atone for your lives, the rich shall not give more than a half shekel, nor shall the poor give less. The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less, than the half shekel, when you give the LORD’s offering to make atonement for your lives. The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when they give an offering unto the LORD, to make an atonement for your souls. The rich shall not pay more, and the poor shall not pay less, than the half shekel, when you give the contribution to the LORD to make atonement for yourselves. The rich are not to give more than a half shekel and the poor are not to give less when you make the offering to the LORD to atone for your lives.
Take the atonement money from the Israelites and use it for the service of the Tent of Meeting. It will serve as a memorial for the Israelites before the LORD to make atonement for your lives.” You shall take the atonement money from the people of Israel and shall give it for the service of the tent of meeting, that it may bring the people of Israel to remembrance before the LORD, so as to make atonement for your lives.” And thou shalt take the atonement money of the children of Israel, and shalt appoint it for the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; that it may be a memorial unto the children of Israel before the LORD, to make an atonement for your souls. And you shall take the atonement money from the sons of Israel and give it for the service of the tent of meeting, so that it may be a memorial for the sons of Israel before the LORD, to make atonement for yourselves.” Receive the atonement money from the Israelites and use it for the service of the tent of meeting. It will be a memorial for the Israelites before the LORD, making atonement for your lives.”
And the LORD said to Moses, The LORD said to Moses, And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, Then the LORD said to Moses,
“You are to make a bronze basin with a bronze stand for washing. Set it between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and put water in it, “You shall also make a basin of bronze, with its stand of bronze, for washing. You shall put it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and you shall put water in it, Thou shalt also make a laver of brass, and his foot also of brass, to wash withal: and thou shalt put it between the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar, and thou shalt put water therein. “You shall also make a basin of bronze, with its base of bronze, for washing; and you shall put it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and you shall put water in it. “Make a bronze basin, with its bronze stand, for washing. Place it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water in it.
with which Aaron and his sons are to wash their hands and feet. with which Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet. For Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet thereat: Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet from it; Aaron and his sons are to wash their hands and feet with water from it.
Whenever they enter the Tent of Meeting or approach the altar to minister by presenting an offering made by fire to the LORD, they must wash with water so that they will not die. When they go into the tent of meeting, or when they come near the altar to minister, to burn a food offering to the LORD, they shall wash with water, so that they may not die. When they go into the tabernacle of the congregation, they shall wash with water, that they die not; or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn offering made by fire unto the LORD: when they enter the tent of meeting, they shall wash with water, so that they do not die; or when they approach the altar to minister, by offering up in smoke a fire sacrifice to the LORD. Whenever they enter the tent of meeting, they shall wash with water so that they will not die. Also, when they approach the altar to minister by presenting a food offering to the LORD,
Thus they are to wash their hands and feet so that they will not die; this shall be a permanent statute for Aaron and his descendants for the generations to come.” They shall wash their hands and their feet, so that they may not die. It shall be a statute forever to them, even to him and to his offspring throughout their generations.” So they shall wash their hands and their feet, that they die not: and it shall be a statute for ever to them, even to him and to his seed throughout their generations. So they shall wash their hands and their feet, so that they do not die; and it shall be a permanent statute for them, for Aaron and his descendants throughout their generations.” they shall wash their hands and feet so that they will not die. This is to be a lasting ordinance for Aaron and his descendants for the generations to come.”

And you shall anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, so that they may serve as priests to Me. “Anoint Aaron and his sons and consecrate them so they may serve me as priests.
And you are to tell the Israelites, ‘This will be My sacred anointing oil for the generations to come. And you shall say to the people of Israel, ‘This shall be my holy anointing oil throughout your generations. And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, This shall be an holy anointing oil unto me throughout your generations. Furthermore, you shall speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘This shall be a holy anointing oil to Me throughout your generations. Say to the Israelites, ‘This is to be my sacred anointing oil for the generations to come.
It must not be used to anoint an ordinary man, and you must not make anything like it with the same formula. It is holy, and it must be holy to you. It shall not be poured on the body of an ordinary person, and you shall make no other like it in composition. It is holy, and it shall be holy to you. Upon man's flesh shall it not be poured, neither shall ye make any other like it, after the composition of it: it is holy, and it shall be holy unto you. It shall not be poured on anyone’s body, nor shall you make any like it in the same proportions; it is holy, and it shall be holy to you. Do not pour it on anyone else’s body and do not make any other oil using the same formula. It is sacred, and you are to consider it sacred.
Anyone who mixes perfume like it or puts it on an outsider shall be cut off from his people.’ ” Whoever compounds any like it or whoever puts any of it on an outsider shall be cut off from his people.’” Whosoever compoundeth any like it, or whosoever putteth any of it upon a stranger, shall even be cut off from his people. Whoever mixes any like it or whoever puts any of it on a layman shall be cut off from his people.’” Whoever makes perfume like it and puts it on anyone other than a priest must be cut off from their people.’”
The LORD also said to Moses, “Take fragrant spices— gum resin, onycha, galbanum, and pure frankincense— in equal measures, The LORD said to Moses, “Take sweet spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum, sweet spices with pure frankincense (of each shall there be an equal part), And the LORD said unto Moses, Take unto thee sweet spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum; these sweet spices with pure frankincense: of each shall there be a like weight: Then the LORD said to Moses, “Take for yourself spices—stacte, onycha, and galbanum, spices and pure frankincense; there shall be an equal part of each. Grind some of it to powder and place it in front of the ark of the covenant law in the tent of meeting, where I will meet with you. It shall be most holy to you.
You are never to use this formula to make incense for yourselves; you shall regard it as holy to the LORD. And the incense that you shall make according to its composition, you shall not make for yourselves. It shall be for you holy to the LORD. And as for the perfume which thou shalt make, ye shall not make to yourselves according to the composition thereof: it shall be unto thee holy for the LORD. And the incense which you shall make, you shall not make in the same proportions for yourselves; it shall be holy to you for the LORD. Do not make any incense with this formula for yourselves; consider it holy to the LORD.
Anyone who makes something like it to enjoy its fragrance shall be cut off from his people.” Whoever makes any like it to use as perfume shall be cut off from his people.” Whosoever shall make like unto that, to smell thereto, shall even be cut off from his people. Whoever makes any like it, to use as perfume, shall be cut off from his people.” Whoever makes incense like it to enjoy its fragrance must be cut off from their people.”
