| 13 | and Paul answered, “Why are you weeping, and crushing my heart? For I am ready, not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the Name of the Lord Jesus”; | Then Paul answered, “What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be imprisoned but even to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.” | Then Paul answered, “Why are you weeping and breaking my heart? I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.” | |
| 14 | and he not being persuaded, we were silent, saying, “The will of the LORD be done.” | And since he would not be persuaded, we ceased and said, “Let the will of the Lord be done.” | When he would not be dissuaded, we gave up and said, “The Lord’s will be done.” | |
