| 7 | וַיְנַתֵּ֣ץ אֶת־ הַֽמִּזְבְּח֗וֹת וְאֶת־ הָאֲשֵׁרִ֤ים וְהַפְּסִלִים֙ כִּתַּ֣ת לְהֵדַ֔ק וְכָל־ הַֽחַמָּנִ֥ים גִּדַּ֖ע בְּכָל־ אֶ֣רֶץ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וַיָּ֖שָׁב לִירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ ס | he broke down the altars and beat the Asherim and the images into powder and cut down all the incense altars throughout all the land of Israel. Then he returned to Jerusalem. | he tore down the altars and the Asherah poles and crushed the idols to powder and cut to pieces all the incense altars throughout Israel.
