"But see, we are slaves today, slaves in the land you gave our ancestors so they could eat its fruit and the other good things it produces.

"So now today we are slaves in the land of plenty that you gave our ancestors for their enjoyment! We are slaves here in this good land.

Behold, we are slaves this day; in the land that you gave to our fathers to enjoy its fruit and its good gifts, behold, we are slaves.

"Behold, we are slaves today, And as to the land which You gave to our fathers to eat of its fruit and its bounty, Behold, we are slaves in it.

Behold, we are servants this day, and for the land that thou gavest unto our fathers to eat the fruit thereof and the good thereof, behold, we are servants in it:

Here we are today, slaves in the land You gave our ancestors so that they could enjoy its fruit and its goodness. Here we are--slaves in it!

"Look! Today we are your servants, along with the land that you gave to our ancestors, so they could enjoy its fruit and its value— behold, in it we are your servants!

"So today we are slaves! In the very land you gave to our ancestors to eat its fruit and to enjoy its good things--we are slaves!

Look [at us] now. We're slaves! In the land you gave our ancestors, they could eat its produce and [enjoy] its good things. But now we're slaves!

Behold, we are slaves this day, behold us here, slaves in the land which thou didst give unto our fathers to eat the fruit thereof and the good thereof.

Behold, we are servants this day, and for the land that you gave unto our fathers to eat the fruit thereof and the good thereof, behold, we are servants in it:

Premda su bili u svom kraljevstvu, u velikim dobrima koja si im činio, u prostranoj i plodnoj zemlji koju si im dao, oni ti nisu služili i od svojih zlih djela nisu se odvraćali.

E oggi eccoci schiavi! eccoci schiavi nel paese che tu desti ai nostri padri, perché ne mangiassero i frutti e ne godessero i beni.

Maka tatkala mereka itu lagi suatu kerajaan dan di antara segala perkara baik, yang telah Kauperbuat akan mereka itu, dan di dalam sebuah negeri yang amat luas dan subur, yang telah Kaukaruniakan di hadapan mereka itu, tiada juga mereka itu berbuat ibadat kepada-Mu dan tiada mereka itu bertobat dari pada segala perbuatannya yang jahat itu.
