1THEY who trust in the LORD in the mount of Zion shall not be moved, but shall dwell there for ever.

2As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.

3For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the portion of the righteous; neither shall the righteous put forth their hands to iniquity.

4Do good, O LORD, to those who are good, and to them who are upright in their hearts.

5But as for those who follow their crooked ways, the LORD will scatter them together with the workers of iniquity; but peace will be upon Israel.
