Administering the Gift

For as touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to youp:   concerning helping; those devoted to God, believers; not necessary

For I know the forwardness of yourp mind, for which I boast of youp to them of Macedonia, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and yourp zeal has provoked very many.   willingness; stirred

Yet have I sent the brethren, lest our boasting of youp should be in vain in this behalf; that, as I said, youp may be ready:

Lest haply if they of Macedonia come with me, and find youp unprepared, we (that we say not, youp) should be ashamed in this same confident boasting.   perhaps

Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren, that they would go before to youp, and make up beforehand yourp bounty, whereof youp had notice before, that the same might be ready, as a matter of bounty, and not as of covetousness.   urge; gift

The Cheerful Giver

But this I say, he which sows sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which sows bountifully shall reap also bountifully.   generously

Every man according as he purposed in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loves a cheerful giver.   under compulsion, as being forced

And God is able to make all grace abound toward youp; that youp, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

(As it is written, He has dispersed abroad; He has given to the poor: His righteousness remains for ever.   PS 112:9

Now He that ministers seed to the sower both minister bread for yourp food, and multiply yourp seed sown, and increase the fruits of yourp righteousness;)   ISA 55:10 | supplies

Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causes through us thanksgiving to God.   liberality

For the administration of this service not only supplies the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings to God;   rendering; need, lack

While by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for yourp professed subjection to the gospel of Christ, and for yourp liberal distribution to them, and to all men;   proof; ministry

And by their prayer for youp, which long after youp for the exceeding grace of God in youp.   yearn

Thanks be to God for His unspeakable gift.   indescribable
