Preparation Made to Eat the Passover
Interwoven Gospels

Now on the first day of the unleavened bread, on which the Passover must be sacrificed, the disciples came to Jesus, saying, "Where wilt Thou that we go and prepare for Thee to eat the Passover?" And He sendeth two of His disciples, Peter and John, and saith to them, "Go, and prepare the Passover for us, that we may eat." Then they said to Him, "Where wilt Thou that we prepare it?" And He said to them, "Go into the city, and behold, when ye have entered into it, there shall meet you a man carrying a pitcher of water; follow him into the house whereinto he entereth. And ye shall say to the master of the house, 'The Teacher saith to thee, My time is at hand; I will keep the Passover with thee, together with My disciples. Where is the guest chamber where I may eat the Passover with My disciples?' And he himself will show you a large upper room furnished, ready: and there prepare for us." And the disciples went forth and came into the city, and found as He had said to them; and they prepared the Passover, as Jesus directed them.

Now when evening came, He cometh with the twelve; and when the hour came, He reclined at table, and the apostles with Him. And He said to them, "Earnestly have I desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer: for I say to you, I will eat it no more till it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God."
