Jesus the Guest of Martha and Mary
Interwoven Gospels

Now as they went on their way, He entered into a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha received Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at the Lord's feet, and was listening to His discourse. But Martha was exceedingly worried on account of much serving; and coming up quickly to them, she said, "Lord, dost Thou not care that my sister left me to serve alone? Speak to her then, that she help me." But Jesus answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, thou art anxious and troubled about many things. There is need of but one thing: for Mary hath chosen the good part, which shall not be taken from her."
