Wisdom 18:8
Good News Translation
With the same act you punished our enemies and did us the glorious honor of calling us to yourself.

For by the same means by which you punished our enemies you called us to yourself and glorified us.

But on the other side there sounded an ill according cry of the enemies, and a lamentable mourning was heard for the children that were bewailed.
